Our young Club members need advocated to encourage their continued growth in literacy based activities.  Emerge welcomes you to consider partnering with us to help further literacy in our community’s young people.

Research has continually shown the importance of reading early, and reading often.  Reading and literacy activities help developing youth to build vital skills necessary as they grow and learn.  While these activities are essential to young minds we too often find students who are struggling with basic skills involving reading and literacy.  With the goal of nurturing and furthering literacy, Emerge has begun the development of a unique space for the members at the Club.

The space is designed to incorporate a variety of elements to engage members of all ages and reading levels to further literacy growth.  Physical books, technology, interactive games, mentorship programs with peer and adult volunteers, and a welcoming, child friendly atmosphere are just a few of the pieces that will help this project to grow and flourish.  Emerge is seeking partners to make this project a success now and far into the future!
