Tania Bengtsson
When asked what she wanted her team color to be, Tania Bengtsson responded: Bling! What a perfect way to describe this candidate! She shines in all she does. As a Principal and Director of Marketing for Gibson, Tania leads the corporate brand identity for one of the fastest growing risk management firms in the Midwest. In addition to a successful career in marketing and communications, Tania continues to work professionally as a voice actor for TV and radio commercials. She also serves on the Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County Board of Directors and volunteers for Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County. With her husband Brian, Tania is the mother of two and expecting another this fall! She is a telecommunications graduate of Michigan State University.
Alexa Miles
To Alexa Miles, the Club is more than just a safe place for her to go after school, it is her second home and extended family. She credits the Club for keeping her motivated academically. Before joining the Club, she received average grades, now she is a strict honor roll student, has perfect attendance, and is focused on attending the University of Notre Dame. Though she’s only in 5th grade, she already serves as a school crossing guard captain and as a mentor to kindergartners by teaching them that reading is fun! She participates in SMART girls, a program aimed at cultivating young girls’ self-image and drive. Aside from SMART Girls, Alexa’s favorite activity at Club is dodge ball Fridays!
