Pat Flynn

Pat Flynn seems to do it all – he cooks, he cleans, he dances, golfs, mentors youth! Ask him who his inspiration is? He’ll say Laura, his wife. Pat is the Vice-President of Customer and Community Relations for Indiana Beverage, where he has worked for the past several years. Before Indiana Beverage, he worked in his family’s home builder business for decades. Though he takes his life and career very seriously, what he really loves is just to talk and have fun with his family and friends. Like his four adult children, Pat attended University of Notre Dame for business management.

 

Amari Million

For years, 4th grader Amari suffered from being unable to control his emotions. His anger episodes would get him in trouble most days of the week at school. This led to frustration with school and his grades were undesirable, with a reading level one grade behind. After switching schools and coming back to Harrison, he joined the Boys & Girls Club and, with the help of many staff members, he turned his attitude around. His attitude is now positive, bright, and contagious. The Club gave him a place to share his feelings and stay on top of homework. He is now on the honor roll, has perfect attendance, and is reading at a 5th grade level! When he grows up he hopes to have a career in professional football.
